Fondazione L’Albero della Vita (FADV) is a Third Sector organization that operates in Italy and abroad in protection, migration, development, emergency, and child protection.

Who are we looking for?

Fondazione L’Albero della Vita ETS is looking for a Grant Manager to be included in the Management Control Area who, in collaboration with the Programs Area and the Administration Area, will be responsible for finding new project and funding opportunities from institutional entities, ensuring the correct management of funding, reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations and contractual obligations.

Main activities:

• Manage the entire funding lifecycle, from proposal preparation to final reporting.
• Ensure that all funded projects comply with the regulations of the main funders (AICS, OCHA, ECHO, Ministry of the Interior, European Commission, UNICEF, IOM, etc.).
• Coordinate the preparation of financial and technical reports, in line with deadlines set by donors.
• Support project teams in budgeting, cost forecasting and financial planning.
• Monitor project implementation to ensure effective use of funds.
• Maintain relationships with funders, responding to inquiries, audits and verifications.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience gained in the role;
• Degree in Economics, Political Science, International Relations or similar;
• Proven experience in administrative management and financial procedures of funders such as AICS, OCHA, ECHO, Ministry of the Interior, European Commission, UNICEF, IOM etc.
• Experience in preparing and managing project budgets and drafting financial reports;
• Excellent knowledge of the rules and regulations relating to the management of public and international funds;
• Availability to travel nationally and internationally;
• Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written);
• Knowledge of Spanish and/or French will be a plus;
• Experience writing project proposals for major funders will be a plus;
• Adherence to the vision and mission of L’Albero della Vita and to our Child Safeguarding policy.

Hiring: CCNL Commercio, full time 38 hours, salary range RAL €28,000/€30,000 (further details on the duration of the contract and salary level will be discussed and confirmed during the interview and based on the experience of the candidate identified).

Place of work: Central Offices in Milan with national and international travel.

Start date: Immediate availability required (by March 2025).
