Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights against hunger worldwide. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has been its identity for over 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Assignment :

Under the supervision of the Deputy Country Director – Programs, your role will be to support the coordination team and the Grants and Partnership team in the development and submission of concept notes and project proposals to donors.
In this context, your missions will be to:
Coordinate the process of submitting concept notes, project proposals and ensure the quality of proposals submitted on time, following Action Against Hunger’s validation processes and taking into account donor guidelines
Provide strategic, technical and coordinated monitoring of the administrative management of grants
You will manage the Grants and Donor Relations Manager as well as the Deputy Coordinator in charge of partnership.

Profile:

You hold a higher education degree (Bac + 5) in political science, international relations, international development or project management.
You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position within a humanitarian or development organization, including successful experience in writing project proposals, validation procedures, as well as in coordinating processes and managing external communications with donors and partners. You
have excellent knowledge of the humanitarian project management cycle and the concept of logical framework, and you master the rules and regulations of the main donors.
You are able to work in a high-pressure environment.
You have good communication skills (oral and written), in French and English.

Conditions of employment

Fixed-term contract under French law: 1 month until 02/17/2025
Gross monthly salary: from 2,597 to 2,968 euros depending on experience
Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary
Increase in basic salary: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract
Per diem and monthly living expenses: 767 euros net, paid in the field
Monthly context allowance: 150 euros
Child allowance: 1,500 euros per year and per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of 6,000 euros/year)
Transportation: Coverage of travel
Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health contributions (CFE + supplementary health insurance) and repatriation insurance
Salary maintenance arrangements (sickness, maternity, paternity)
Leave and RnR: 25 days per year of CP and 20 RnR per year; support for the ticket with ceiling to go to the chosen break zone, and 215 euros of fixed compensation per RnR
Support and training Monitoring and support for professional career
