SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) is an international humanitarian aid association that, for over 40 years, has been providing assistance to populations affected by armed conflicts and natural disasters by meeting their vital needs: drinking, eating, and shelter. Particularly committed to combating diseases linked to unsafe water, the world’s leading cause of death, SI implements through its interventions expertise in the field of access to drinking water, sanitation and the promotion of hygiene, but also in the essential field of food security and livelihoods. Present in 26 countries, SI’s teams – 3,200 people in total, made up of expatriates, national employees, permanent staff at headquarters, a few volunteers, etc. – intervene with professionalism and commitment while respecting cultures.

Within the HR department of Solidarités International, a member of the Recruitment and Career Path service, in close collaboration with the Operational and Administrative HR departments, the Recruitment and Career Path Officer ensures the recruitment and career path monitoring of the career path for which he/she is responsible. His/her portfolio exclusively concerns the expatriate population.

The Recruitment and Career Path Officer for the Emergency Desk will ensure the recruitment and monitoring of expatriates for the Emergency Desk missions. He/she provides support, if necessary, to the Desk Management Controller (CDG), in charge of national human resources, as well as to the Recruitment & Career Path Officers during periods of lower activity.

The recruitment manager is the guarantor of efficient and qualitative recruitment, dynamic talent pool management, and clear career paths in their portfolio.

He/she is responsible for monitoring the progress of his/her pool through regular contact and updating the availability and development wishes of its members, in close collaboration with the relevant business referent.

He/she participates in service and department projects.

IF YOU WILL OFFER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS

  • Position based at the headquarters of Solidarités International, in Clichy la Garenne (Mairie de Clichy metro station) with occasional travel to the field
  • Fixed-term contract, Executive status
  • Gross monthly salary of: €3,183 or €3,316 (Level 6) depending on the scale in force at the head office and the candidates ‘ experience.
  • Possibility of teleworking: 4 or 12 per month or 100% teleworking in metropolitan France with 3 days of mandatory face-to-face work per month. Depending on the profile and experience of the candidates and in accordance with the Teleworking Charter in force and the manager.
  • Leave: 2.0833 CP/month and 1 day of RTT/full month of work
  • Mutual insurance (80%), meal vouchers (60%), Île de France transport tickets (50%) covered by the association, 100% Teleworking monthly package
  • Recovery days and 100% medical coverage during field trips

Training: You have initial training (bachelor’s or master’s degree) in human resources management, business school, social law or work psychology.

Experience: You have experience in human resources management, acquired in an NGO, an association or ideally in an international context. If you have field experience within an NGO or an INGO in another profession related to HR management, your profile may interest us.

Skills and qualities:

  • Personal qualities: Responsiveness, adaptability, rigor, organizational skills and analytical skills.
  • Interpersonal skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary and international teams.
  • Technical know-how: HR technical skills in recruitment and career monitoring. IT proficiency (O365 pack)
  • Sector expertise: In-depth knowledge of the humanitarian sector and donor expectations.
  • Language skills: Fluent in French and English (reading, writing, speaking).
