Description
General Objective:
Develop advice for partners on mainstreaming the gender approach in the program’s activities, indicators and objectives, which includes the design and implementation of a training process for partners and Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPD) on the gender approach in projects.
Specific Objectives
- Strengthen the capacities of partner organizations, OPDs and risk management committees on gender issues.
- Accompany and advise partners on mainstreaming the gender approach in the program.
- Develop and implement the empowerment index for women in OPD and risk management committees as an initial baseline for the programme, with monitoring mechanisms and instruments.
- Conduct a critical analysis of gender, age and disability indicators within the program, identifying challenges and recommendations.
The training and professional experience of the consulting team (minimum 2 people) will be assessed according to the following components:
- Professionals with university or other training in gender issues.
- With at least 3 years of experience in developing training or consulting on gender focus in projects.
- Knowledgeable about the Central American context.
- Ease in establishing good interpersonal relationships.
- Fluency in oral and written communication in the Spanish language.
- Ability to analyze, synthesize and write documents.
- Professionals who respect diversity. Experience managing online/in-person training strategies and teams.
